Tom Hayllar has written English text books and two books on journeys. One is “A Long Way Walkin’ in Australia” the other, about a walking, climbing journey in New Guinea is called “The Star Mountains”.
Tom is a member of a Sydney bush walking club, The Coast and Mountain Walkers, a member of The Sydney Speleological Society and a member of The Explorers Club of New York.
He has long been interested in writing poems that relate to his experiences of the City and the Bush.

His three books featured here are a cumulation of many years of writing and his vivid imagination.
